1402. 5 Kal. Oct. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 37.)	To the bishop of Tuy, and Donald Okenady, canon, and James Ograda, official, of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to James Offlannira, clerk, of the diocese of Limerick, the vicarage, of clerical patronage, and value not exceeding 3 marks, of Killhrele in the diocese of Limerick, void by the death of Charles [Macmo? ]lassa. Vite ac morum. [The text has Cornelius assa, and this has been crossed through and corrected in the margin. An attempt has been made, by means of a solvent (frequently employed in this volume), to efface the marginal correction, but part of the name, viz. Carolus lassa, is still legible.]
10 Kal. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 62.)	To the bishop of Civitaten., the archdeacon of Huntyndon in Lincoln, and the official of Ely. Mandate to collate and assign to William Burgh, priest, of the diocese of Norwich, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 40 marks, of Redenhale, in the said diocese, void by the death of John Clerk. Vite etc.
10 Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 108.)	To the precentor of Limerick. Mandate to collate and assign to Geruallus Ofergula, priest, of the diocese of Killaloe, if found fit in Latin, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 3 marks, of Kilbradaran, in the diocese of Limerick, so long void—because John Macscuina held it for a year without being ordained priest and without dispensation—that its collation has by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see; although Donald Ohogayn, priest, of the diocese of Limerick, who is to be removed, unduly detains it. Dignum arbitramur. [See f. 111.]
Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 110d.)	To the bishop of Tuy, and the dean and John Offlahainayn, canon, of Ardfert. Mandate to collate and assign to Cornelius Oloynsig, clerk, of the diocese of Killaloe, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 15 marks, of Killsyobrach, in that diocese, void because Maurice Omurgyssa held it for a year and more without being ordained priest and without dispensation. Cornelius has had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman related in the fourth degree of kindred, to be promoted to all [even] holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure. 1402. 3 Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 111.)	To the precentor of Limerick, and Maurice Okearmada and John Oflachaman, canons of Killaloe and Ardfert. Mandate to collate and assign to Donald Ohogayn, perpetual vicar of Kilbradaran in the diocese of Limerick, the vicarage, value not exceeding 7 marks, of Duneochali (sic) in the diocese of Cashel, so long void—because David Ohogayn held it for a year and more without being ordained priest and without dispensation—that its collation has by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see; although the said David, who is to be removed, unduly detains it. Donald has had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all [even] holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, under which he has obtained, by authority of the ordinary, his said vicarage of Kilbradaran, which, upon obtaining Donneochali (sic), he is to resign. 8 Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 127.)	Provision to John Brylle (sic), a Friar Minor, in priest's orders, of the see of Annadown, void by the death of Henry Tyrlaw, during whose lifetime it was reserved to the pope. He is, immediately upon having his letters of provision expedited, to betake himself to his church, reside therein in person, and is not to exercise pontifical offices without his city and diocese. Apostolatus officium. (De mandato.)
[6 Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome.] (f. 127d.)	To the same. Indult, notwithstanding the requirement in his recent provision, to reside even without his said church, and to exercise pontifical offices even without his city and diocese when required by, and with special licence of, other ordinaries. Sincere devocionis. [Unfinished, the terminal clauses and date being wanting. Cancelled with strokes only. See above, Reg. CII, f. 128d.]
16 Kal. May. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 129.)	Provision to Theoderic Bloc, a monk (sic) of the order of Crouched Friars (fratrum Cruciferum), under the rule of St. Augustine, of the house of Asperen (Asparen), in the diocese of Utrecht, in priest's orders, of the see of Sodor, to which on its voidance by the pope's translation of John to Cathcden. (also written Cathaden.), provision was made on 5 Kal. Oct. anno 3 [1392], to John Sproten, a Friar Preacher, who has not caused his letters of provision to be expedited, whereby the church is still void. Immediately, etc. as above, f. 127. 2 Id. Aug. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 169.)	Provision to Robert Towta, Cistercian monk of Dowkyswell (sic) in the diocese of Exeter, in priest's orders, of the see of Scopia, Ũskũb or Skoplje (Scopien.) [in Albania], void by the death of Herman, during whose life it was reserved by the pope. Immediately upon having the present letters expedited he is to betake himself thither and reside in person, and is not to exercise pontifical offices without his city and diocese. Apostolatus officium. (De mandato.)
1402. 10 Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 176.)	Provision to Lupus Stremoten, a Benedictine, of the see of Selma (Samasten.) in Turkey (Turchia), still void because Thomas [Merke] bishop of Carlisle, whom the pope translated from Carlisle to Selma, has not caused the letters of provision to be made, and reserved to the pope in accordance with his late general reservation of all cathedral churches void at the apostolic see. Apostolatus officium. (De mandato.)
7 Id. Oct. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 183.)	Translation to the see of Ossory of John, who is at the apostolic see, bishop of Dromore (Drumeren.), from which former see the pope has this day released Roger, the translation being for the greater utility of both churches. Romani pontificis.
	Concurrent mandates to the chapter of Ossory, to the clergy and to the people of the city and diocese—Romani pontificis; and to the archbishop of Dublin—Ad cumulum.
8 Id. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 184.)	Provision to John Chefale, a Friar Minor, in priest's orders, of the see of Gallipoli (Calipolen.) [in Thrace], void by the death of Marchio, during whose life it was reserved to the apostolic see. Immediately upon, etc., as above, f. 169. Apostolatus officium. (De mandato.)

6 Kal. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 269.)	To John Weston, rector of Iweley, in the diocese of Worcester, bachelor of canon and civil law. Indult for life, while engaged in the study of letters at an university or in the service of a prelate, or residing in the Roman court or one of his benefices, to take and let to farm, to clerks or laymen, the fruits of his benefices, and not to be bound to reside. Litterarum sciencia, vite etc.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Telese and the abbots of Evesham and Perschore, in the diocese of Worcester. Litterarum etc.
3 Id. Aug. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 272d.)	To William Lyncoke, perpetual vicar of Swerdeston in the diocese of Norwich. Indult for three years, while residing in the Roman court or one of his benefices, or engaged in the study of letters at an university or in the service of a prelate, to take and let to farm to any persons, ecclesiastical or secular, the fruits of his benefices, and not to be bound to reside. Vite ac morum.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Telese, the archdeacon of London and the official of Ely. Vite etc.
Kal. Sept. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 274.)	To John Fayreforde, rector of Llanbilio, in the diocese of St. Davids. Indult for seven years, while engaged etc. as in f. 269; with dispensation to hold during seven years with his said church one other benefice with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if a parish church or a perpetual vicarage, or a dignity, elective, and major or principal respectively, personatus or office, with or without cure, in a metropolitan, cathedral or collegiate church, and to resign both for exchange or otherwise as often as he pleases, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices; and dispensation for him, who is only a subdeacon, during the said seven years not to be obliged, on account of his said church and such other benefices with cure or dignities, etc., to have himself promoted to higher holy orders. Within the said period, of the said church and such incompatible benefice or benefices, he is to exchange one for another compatible with the remaining one; otherwise he is to resign that one of them which he prefers. Vite etc.
	Concurrent mandate to the abbot of Osneye, and the archdeacons of Brecknock and Kermerdyn in St. Davids. Vite etc.
