To the customers and collectors of the subsidy in the port of London. Order, upon petition of Catanus Spynola merchant of Genoa (Janua). to suffer him by himself or his people to bring to England for sale a jewel of gold and silver which is over sea, namely a hill of Calvery whereupon is a cross of the Lord, and at the foot of it an image of the Virgin and another of St. John with angels and other work, set with stones and pearls, paying the subsidies etc. thereupon due, so that if he sell it not within the realm he may, without payment of custom or subsidy at entry or departure, take the same for sale out of the realm whither he shall please.
