To the abbot of Bury St. Edmunds. Licence to deliver by way of exchange to Angelus Christofori, a Lumbard dwelling in the city of London, 400 marks of English money, receiving in foreign parts by himself or his attorneys 400 marks of Angelus or his fellows. By K.
To Angelus Christofori (as above). Licence to receive of William Cratfelde chaplain by way of exchange 400 marks of English money, paying in foreign parts by himself or his fellows 400 marks to the said William or his attorneys, provided he send over no gold or silver by colour of this command in the lump or in coin under pain of forfeiture thereof. To the keepers of the passage in the port of London, Dovorre, Sandewich or Orewelle. Order to suffer William Cratfelde chaplain, who with licence of the king is sailing over sea, to pass in one of those ports with three other chaplains in his company and four servants, taking eight horses, books and other harness, any former command of the king to the contrary notwithstanding. Order to take of Elizabeth who was wife of Roger Chetewynt, tenant by knight service of the heir of William earl of Stafford a minor in the king's ward, an oath etc., and in presence of the next friends of Richard brother and heir of the said Roger, or of their attorneys, to assign her dower.
