Charter indented of the manor of 'Southsomercotes' with all lands, rents, reversions and services of freeholders and neifs, the neifs and all that goes with them in the towns and parishes of 'Southsomercotes' and 'Northsomercotes,' and all other lands etc. there which the grantors have at this date, all which they had by feoffment of the said William Frank. John Forster of Shiperygge in the parish of Swalewfelde, cousin and heir of Thomas Scures his uncle, to John Perot and Agnes his wife, formerly wife of Thomas Scures, and to the heirs and assigns of John Perot. Gift with warranty of a messuage, two carucates of arable land, 40 acres of wood, 6 acres of meadow, 30 acres of pasture, 13s. 4d. of yearly rent in the townships of Rammesdelle, Wotton St Lawrence, Pambere, Thadele and Shirbourne co. Suthampton, which at his death the said Thomas held with her, with reversion to the right heirs of the said Thomas, and John Perot and Agnes have surrendered to the grantor. Northumberland 'gentilman,' and undertaking by him under a pain of 100l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Agnes who was wife of Walter Michelson or any other of the people.

Condition, that they shall abide and perform the award of Master John Stafforde keeper of the privy seal and William Fry of Devon, or some other person appointed by the council, concerning the goods and chattels of Roger Leche knight at his death, for which a plea is pending before the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer between the bishop and the others and the said William Loueney and Henry, such award to be made before the octaves of St. Martin next.
