Richard Athelwalde of 'Southcreke' co. Norffolk to John Drewe parson of Norwolde, William Lexham of Little Walsyngham, Richard Baret of Hecham and John Legge of 'Southcreeke,' and to their assigns. Grant, for a sum of money beforehand paid, of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead in the town of 'Southcreke' or elsewhere within the realm. Witnesses: Henry Kays archdeacon of Norwich, John Bosoun, William Oldehalle esquires, Edmund Godefrey, John Haltclo. Dated 'Southcreke,' 20 October 9 Henry V.
Memorandum of acknowledgment, 6 February.
The abbot and convent of the house and church of Burton upon Trent of the order of St. Benedict to Master Robert de Oxton clerk. Bond in 1,000l. payable on Easter day next. Dated the chapter house Burton, 6 December 9 Henry V.
Memorandum of acknowledgment at Burton 4 February before Master William Neuhawe canon in the cathedral church of St. Chad Lichfield, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100l., made in chancery 11 February this year by Richard Priour of Essex 'gentilman,' Hugh Willughby of Notynghamshire 'gentilman' and William Lynde of Oxfordshire 'gentilman' for Hugh Aunesley knight, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 200l., that he shall appear in person in chancery on 6 March next.
Note that he did appear there at that day.
Nicholas Carreu to Roger Heroun, John Brymmesgrove clerks, John Cornwaleys, Thomas Hayton, John Gaynesforde and Thomas Herynge, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of the manors of Great Purle, Hyde and Sulham co. Berkshire with the advowson of the church there (sic), and all other his lands, rents and services in the towns and parishes of Great Purle, Tilehurst, Sulham, Tydmersshe and Whichechirche, with heriots, reliefs, suits of court, ways, paths, rights etc. Witnesses: William Fyfhyde, John Cowpere, Thomas Perman, Nicholas Peers, William Sparehauke. Dated Great Purle, Tuesday the feast of the Annunciation 9 Henry V.
