To the collectors or farmers of the alnage and subsidy upon cloth for sale in the city of London for the time being. Order to pay to Katherine the queen mother 23l. 6s. 8d. a year for life, and the arrears since the late king's death; as with assent of the lords spiritual and temporal and of the commons in this parliament, of all castles, honours, lordships, towns, manors, commotes, earldoms, fee farms, rents, lands and possessions of the late king as well of the crown, the principality and the duchy of Cornwall as of the heritage of the earldom of Cestre the king has assigned to her for life, among other things, 23l. 6s. 8d. a year of the said alnage and subsidy from the death of the late king in part of her dower. To the receiver general of the duchy of Cornwall and of Devon for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning 566l. 16d. a year of the issues and revenues as well of the stampage of tin as of all other profits of the said duchy and county arising.

To Henry Kays keeper of the hanaper of chancery. Order of the issues and profits of the hanaper to pay to Simon Gaunstede the king's clerk, keeper of the chancery rolls and late keeper of the great seal, such wages for himself and his fellows, the clerks and other ministers of the chancery who mess with him as the manner is, from 28 September last on which day the seal was delivered to him until 17 November following on which day it was delivered to Thomas bishop of Durham the chancellor, as the chancellors heretofore took in the time of former kings.
