John Halstede of Little Eyston to Richard Sturgeoun and Nicholas Sturgeoun clerk. Recognisance for 5 marks, to be levied etc. in Essex.
Condition, that he shall pay 20s. at Midsummer next, 20s. at Allhallows following, and 26s. 8d. at Midsummer following.

Walter Chaddesley, son and heir of Thomas Chaddesley citizen and girdler of London, to Thomas Haseley one of the clerks of the crown in chancery, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents and services in the parish of Wandesworth co. Surrey which descended to the said Walter by inheritance after his father's death. Witnesses: Thomas Latoun, John Hunte, each of Wandelesworth 'gentilman,' John West, Stephen Buntyng, Benedict Halywelle, each of the same 'yoman' Dated 20 October 2 Henry VI.

Salop 'gentilman,' William Aubrey of Tathyngton co. Salop 'gentilman' and John Aubrey of Tathyngton co. Hereforde for John Skydmore knight, that he shall appear in person in chancery in the quinzaine of Midsummer next, and meantime shall do or procure no hurt or harm to any of the people.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100 marks, made in chancery 4 December this year by William de Athirton of Athirton knight, Thurstan de Holande of Denton 'squyer,' Lawrence de Standysshe of Standysshe 'gentilman' and William de Lever of Lever 'gentilman' all of Lancashire, for Margaret who was wife of John de Pilkyngton knight, and of an undertaking by her under a pain of 200 marks, that she shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Thomas Chamberlayn or any other of the people.

Norhampton and William Waller of Horstede esquires, and of an undertaking by either of them under the same pain, that they shall truly serve the king in the next expedition to France according to indentures made between the king and them.
