To the customers in the port of Gippewich and the keepers of the passage in that port. Order to suffer Thomas Asshe and his deputies in that port to ship in a ship or ships and, after payment of customs etc. thereupon due, to bring to London 60 quarters of wheat by them bought and purveyed in Suffolk for victualling the city of London, any command to them or any of them previously addressed to the contrary notwithstanding; as Thomas Broun 'fysshmonger' and John Gladwyn 'draper,' both of London, have mainperned for him in chancery under a pain of 20l., and he has undertaken under the same pain, that he or his deputies shall take the wheat nowhere else. | ||||||

Kent 'gentilman' or his deputies in that port to lade in ships and carry to London 200 quarters of wheat by them bought in Kent for victualling of the city of London, any command to them or any of them previously addressed to the contrary notwithstanding; as he has undertaken in chancery under a pain of 40l., and William Godyng of Surrey 'gentilman' has mainperned for him under the same pain, that he or his deputies shall carry the wheat nowhere else. Proviso that before Christmas next he shall bring into chancery letters under seal of the mayor of London witnessing the unlading thereof. | ||||||
