Westminster.
Richard Archier of Salop 'gentilman' to Thomas Haseley, Alexander de Ferentinis and Senobius Fraunceys, both of Florence merchants. Recognisance for 200l., to be levied etc. in Salop. (fn. 1)
Condition, that he shall appear in person in chancery in the quinzaine of St. Hilary next, to answer to the said Thomas and the others touching a bill for a debt of 200l.
Note that he did appear, and with assent of the parties a day was given until the quinzaine of Easter next, when he did likewise appear, and a further day was given until the quinzaine of Michaelmas following.
Vacated, because nothing done thereupon.

Gift with warranty of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead, and all his debts in the town and parish of Ryppe and elsewhere within the realm. Richard Danyell clerk, parson of Swyllyngton, to John Hopton esquire, son of Thomas Hopton esquire, and to the heirs male of his body. Quitclaim of the manor of Wyset co. Suffolk, and all other lands, rents, reversions and services in Wyset whereof William Gerveys and Richard Drewe were seised, and by charter indented made a demise thereof to Roger de Swyllyngton knight, William Myrfelde then parson of Swyllyngton, John Norwyche, Thomas de Thornore and Robert Smythson all deceased, and to the said Richard, their heirs and assigns, who were thereof seised to the use of the said Roger, and to perform his will, reciting the death of the said William Myrfelde, John Norwyche, Thomas de Thornore and Robert, the declaration of his will to the said Richard by the said Roger, namely that if the said Roger should die without issue, Thomas Hopton esquire his brother should have the premises to him and the heirs male of his body, that the said Roger did die without issue, and Thomas Hopton died, that after their deaths certain children of iniquity forged a writing under the said Richard's name, whereby he made a release of the premises to John Gra knight and Margaret his wife, whereas he never made any such writing thereof nor of any other lands, neither would nor might he so do, being contrary to the will of the said Roger, nor did any other person made, seal or write the same by will, consent or order of the said Richard as God is his witness. Dated 17 February 8 Henry VI.

Essex called Dagworthes in possession of the said Richard, and of all other lands, rents, services and revenues (sic), woods, ways, hedges, ditches, wards, marriages, suits of court, liberties, customs, rights etc. to the said manor pertaining in Cressale and Elmedoun. Witnesses: William Loueneye, George Langham, Henry Langle, John Basset, John Grene. Dated 8 November 9 Henry VI.

Essex called Deeres, which William Coker, with John Tirell, Thomas Stambregge, John Codelle both now deceased and Richard Pakelesham had by grant of William Grey and others, John Tyrell having made him a release thereof. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor of 'Estlolleworth' and two carucates of land, and of all other lands, rents, services and reversions in 'Estlolleworth' and Knolle whereof the said John is seised to him and his heirs.
