Richard Leversegge, son and heir of Robert Leversegge of Merton co. Surrey 'gentilman,' to John Iwardeby, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents and services in Ewell, Codyngton and Ebsham or elsewhere in Surrey called Fenelles otherwise 'Fenelleslonde' and 'Parkers place' otherwise 'Parkerslonde,' late of the said Robert, which the said John has by feoffment of the said Robert. Gift indented of a yearly rent of 40s., to be taken of and in all the lands of John Haulay of Lincolnshire esquire in Tetenay and Humberston co. Lincoln, sometime of the said Thomas Haulay, whereof the said Henry is in full possession, reciting a charter whereby John Haulay gave those lands to John Langholme, John Ratheby, Robert Forman and William Clerke, their heirs and assigns, during the life of Agnes his wife, with remainder after her decease to the said Henry, Patrick Skypwyth, John Boteler, William Boteler and John Holden, their heirs and assigns, a writing indented whereby John Langholme and the others made a lease thereof to the said Henry during the life of the said Agnes, and a writing indented whereby the said Patrick, John Boteler, William Boteler and John Holden made a release thereof to him, and he has paid the now grantees 4d. in name of seisin of the said rent; and further grant of a rent of 10s. in name of a pain whensoever any parcel of the former rent shall be one month in arrear. Memorandum of an undertaking under a pain of 1,000 marks, made in chancery 21 November 15 Henry VI by Thomas Rogger abbot of Bukfast, that he shall appear in person in chancery in the octaves of the Purification next, and in the mean time shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Nicholas Brendoun, William Harper and William Eston.
Note, that he did that day appear, and was directed not to leave the court without licence under a pain of 100l.

Condition, that the said Ralph and Lawrence, Thomas Kerdeston, John Hevenyngham knights, William Paston, John Berney of Redeham the elder, John Fastolffe of Olton, John Jarnagan, Edmund Wychyngham, John Berney the younger, Philip Berney, Robert Wychyngham and Robert Boys esquires shall abide and obey the award of Ralph Lampet esquire, Reynold Rous, John Puttoke and John Tasburgh, arbitrators chosen by common consent, touching all actions, plaints, demands and debates between the said Ralph and Lawrence and the said Peter which concern the last will of William Garneys father of the said Ralph, and all others besides, with proviso that their award be made before Easter day next.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200 marks, made in chancery 7 December this year by Thomas Harlowe of the parish of St. Dunstan in the 'Est' London 'iremonger' and John Gryffyn of the parish of St. Benet 'in Greschurche strete sadeler' for John bishop of Scalholt in Island within the realm of Denmark, to whom by letters patent of 22 November this year the king gave licence to lade a ship of England with victuals and other goods and property needful for himself, his men and household when he should come to those parts, therewith to depart thither, there to lade the ship again with other goods etc. to be brought again to England to content certain creditors to whom the bishop is indebted, and to send the same back again, that answer shall be made to the king for customs, subsidies etc. to him due, and that the bishop shall by himself or by others do or attempt nought tending to breach of the statute published on behalf of the king of Denmark in the parliament holden at Westminster in 8 Henry VI.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 10l., made in chancery 30 December this year by Thomas Rythe of Retherwyke co. Suthampton 'gentilman,' William Halle 'yoman,' Roger atte More 'husbandman,' both of Dogmersfeld, and William Barboure of Basyngstoke 'barboure' for Thomas Shirwode and Nicholas Shirwode, both of Basyngstoke, and of an undertaking by Thomas Shirwode for himself under a pain of 40l., that they shall both appear in person in chancery upon warning received on behalf of the king, and for their good behaviour in the mean time in his forests and chaces in the county of Suthampton, doing no hurt to his deer or otherwise, and taking or destroying no deer.
