To the abbot and convent of Cirencestre. Nomination of John Middelham to receive the pension wherein by reason of the abbot's new creation they are bound to one of the king's clerks, until by them provided with a benefice.
By p.s. [5477], and the date by authority of parliament.
Vacated, because otherwise in the 18th year.
Robert Shirbourne citizen and draper of London to John Bate clerk, John Stokker draper and Thomas Gosse mercer citizens of London, their heirs, executors and assigns. Gift with warranty of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead, his property, merchandise and wares within and without the realm on either side the sea; and he has put them in possession by delivery of two standing pieces of silver gilt with covers of one suit. Dated London, 4 October 1439, 18 Henry VI.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 2,000l., made in chancery 19 October this year by John Haryngton of Doncastre co. York, James Bradshawe of Hagh co. Lancastre esquires, Robert Coton of London 'gentilman' and William Talbot of the parish of St. Clement Danes co. Middlesex 'gentilman' for Thomas Haryngton esquire, and of an undertaking by him under the same pain, that he shall appear in person before the king and council on 29 October next, and at any earlier time upon warning received, to answer touching what shall be laid against him, and meantime shall do or procure no hurt or harm to any of the people.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 1,000l., made in chancery 29 October this year by Geoffrey Midelton of Midelham co. York esquire, Richard Barborne of Pulton 'gentilman,' Robert Cotom of Kyrkham 'gentilman' and David Penyngton of Westlaa 'gentilman,' all co. Lancaster, for Thomas Haryngton, son of James Haryngton knight, and of an undertaking by him under the same pain, to appear in person before the king and council on Monday next.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 1,000l., made in chancery 31 October this year by John Tunstall of Midelham, John Fulthorp of Stratford esquires, both co. York, John de Penyngton of Ravynglas and Richard Dacre of Gylleslande esquires, both co. Cumberland, for Thomas son of James Haryngton knight (militis), that he shall appear in person before the king and council on Friday next.
