Feb. 14.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Herefordshire. Order to take of Elizabeth who was wife of John Gryffoun an oath etc., and in presence of the next friends of Nicholas Gryffoun, son and heir of Nicholas brother of the said John, or of their attorneys, to assign her dower.
March 1.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Notynghamshire. Order to take of Alice who was wife of Giles Daubeney knight an oath etc., and in presence of William Daubeney son and heir of the said Giles, or of his attorneys, to assign her dower.
To the escheator in Somerset. Order to assign dower to the said Alice, of whom the king has commanded the escheator in Notynghamshire to take an oath etc.
Like writs to the escheators in Lincolnshire and Bedfordshire.

To the sheriff of Bedford and Bukingham for the time being. Order every year to pay to Walter Strikelande the king's esquire and Richard Strikelande esquire 12d. a day during their lives and the life of the longest liver, and to pay them the arrears since 14 February 21 Henry VI, on which date the king by letters patent granted to them for their lives etc. the office of master of the king's hounds called 'heirers,' with wages of 12d. a day of the issues and profits of the said counties, and all fees, profits etc. to that office due of old time and accustomed.

Westminster.
Order to the sheriff of Gloucester for election of a coroner instead of William Warner, who is too sick to attend to the exercise of that office.
Feb. 8.
Westminster.
Order to the sheriff of Norhampton for election of a coroner instead of Robert Aleyn, who is too sick and aged to travail in exercise of that office.
Feb. 5.
Westminster.
Like order, mutatis mutandis, to the sheriff of Stafford in regard to Thomas Staff[ord] of Alton, who is dead.
Like order, mutatis mutandis, in regard to John Burnette, who is dead.
