Thomas Wise esquire to John Lematoun. Recognisance for 1,000l., to be levied etc. in Devon.
Condition, that he shall abide and perform the award of Adam bishop of Cicestre, Ralph Boteler knight lord of Sydelegh and treasurer of England, John Fray chief baron of the exchequer and Robert Rolleston clerk provost of Beverley, three or two of them, the said bishop or Ralph being one, touching all actions, matters, trespasses, plaints, debates, demands etc. between the parties to this date, so that the same be made in writing indented, and one part delivered to each party under their seals before the quinzaine of Trinity next.

To W. bishop of Norwich. Nomination of Master Geoffrey Hardgrave to receive the pension wherein by reason of his new creation the bishop is bound to one of the king's clerks, until by him provided with a benefice. By p.s. [7954.]

To the prior and convent of Southwyk by Portesmouth. Request immediately after the death of Alice Penford, who at the king's request has a corrody or maintenance of that house for her life, to admit to their house Thomas Normanton the king's serjeant, one of the clerks of the chapel within his household, whom the king is sending thither, willing in consideration of his good service to make him provision of that corrody after her death, and request to minister the same to him, making him letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do.
John Bussy esquire, son of John Bussy knight, to William Stanlowe and Joan his wife and to the heirs of the said William. Quitclaim with warranty of the manors of Silkeby and Dembelby co. Lincoln. Dated 5 March 24 Henry VI.
