Westminster.
To the prior and convent of Worcester. Request to take again any letters patent of theirs concerning a corrody or maintenance within that priory for life which Lawrence Basset has by command of the king, to admit to their house the said Lawrence and Humphrey Basset his son, and minister to them such maintenance as the said Lawrence, Adam Colton, John Wymbissh, John atte Wode or any other had therein, making them letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what they shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as the said Lawrence is of a mind to demise his estate therein to the end that he and the said Humphrey may have it for their lives and the life of the longest liver; and for the good service of the said Humphrey the king has sent them both thither.
