Westminster.
Richard Vernoun knight and Fulk Vernoun esquire his son to John Vampage the elder. Recognisance for 400 marks, to be levied etc. in Leycestershire.
Condition, that before the feast of the Assumption next by writing indented (form follows) they shall make an estate with warranty without fraud, covin or collusion to John lord Lysle knight, Elizabeth Vernoun and John Vampage and to John Langley, Geoffrey Holford and Robert Tounlay and their heirs of the manor of Ayleston co. Leycester and all lands, rents, reversions and services of Richard Vernoun there quit of all charges etc., the advowson of the church excepted, under a condition that if the grantees shall possess the same without disturbance for a term of five years it shall be lawful for the grantors and their heirs and assigns to enter and hold the same again in their first estate.

Margaret late the wife of John Blakebourne of Wolwiche co. Kent 'maryner,' daughter of John Swift of Wolwiche, in her widowhood to Thomas Banastre clerk and Roger Welles. Quitclaim of the whole messuage with garden adjacent and appurtenances in the parish of Wolwyche in the 'Westronde,' namely between land sometime of John Cotte now of John Frost on the east, the highway to the west and south, and a messuage sometime of the said John Swift and John Berde and now of Thomas Taillour of Grenewych on the north. Charter with warranty of his manor and tenement of Brysshynge with lands, woods, waters, rents and services etc. in the parishes of Langley, Boughton Monchenseye and Chart, as divided by metes and bounds, which the grantor had by demise and feoffment of John Martyn the elder, Richard Bamme, Thomas Apoldrefeld and Thomas Peny, and they by feoffment of Roger Hayroun, John Coke clerks, and William Balle. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor and tenement of Brysyng with lands, woods, waters, rents and services etc. in the parishes of Langley, Boughton Monchesey and Chart as divided by metes and bounds, which he had by demise and feoffment of John Martyn the elder etc. (as above), and they by feoffment of Roger Heyroun etc. Witnesses: Thomas Cotynge bailiff of Rochester, Thomas Lorkyn, William Reynham constables thereof, John Cust, John Nicoll, John Soueman.
