John Stoweford of the parish of Bokelond Bruer co. Devon 'gentilman' to Nicholas Alyn the younger. Recognisance for 40l., to be levied etc. in Devon.
Condition, that William Blakedon of the parish of Clauton co. Devon 'yoman,' after he shall be at large out of prison, shall make and seal a bond in 100 marks to Nicholas Alyn, under condition to keep the peace toward him and Joan his wife, their children and servants, and another in 40l. payable to the said Nicholas, his heirs and executors on the feast of the Purification next, under condition that he shall abide and perform the award of William Wollecombe chosen on his own behalf and Thomas Mayer on behalf of the said Nicholas touching all actions, plaints, debates and demands between them, so that the same be made before the Purification aforesaid.
