William Jakys of Salford by Chepyngnorton co. Oxford 'husbondman' to Richard Pygge. Recognisance for 26 marks, to be levied etc. in Oxfordshire.
Condition, that he shall appear in chancery on the morrow of All Souls next.

Thomas Cogger and Henry Andrewe 'bochier,' both of London, to William Tirell of Gyppyng co. Suffolk, William Harleston esquires, John Haydon, John Denston, Reynold Rous, John Andrewe, John Bernarde of Akenham co. Suffolk and Adam Cokkyng clerk, their heirs and assigns. Charter of demise and feoffment with warranty of all the lands, rents and services, woods etc. in the town of Stystede co. Essex called 'Shuldredis' otherwise 'Sulredes,' and all those in Stistede that were of John Mille 'taillour,' which the said Henry, with John Maistre and Alice late the wife of John Mille, had by demise of John Fabyan, Thomas Paycok, John Marssh and John Paycok 'cosyn' of Coggeshale, and all the lands, rents and services, ways, paths, alder groves etc. called 'Hervies' with three crofts of land in Stistede, Great Reyne and Little Reyne sometime of Ivo Prowe which John Maistre and Richard Burbage clerk had by gift of John Hervy the younger, John Stecheford, Richard Turnour and Thomas Mede of Pateswik. Dated 27 February 29 Henry VI.

Letter of attorney, appointing them to give William Tyrell, William Harleston esquires, John Heydon, John Denston, Reynold Rous, John Andrewe, John Bernarde and Adam Cokkyng clerk seisin of lands, rents and services, ways, woods, paths, alder groves, crofts etc. in Stystede, Great Reyne and Little Reyne. Dated (as the last).
Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter and writing, 27 February.
John Chesilden esquire to John Boyvile, Edward Langford, Thomas Langford, Hugh Boyvile, John Burnynghill, William Beafowe esquires, John Tasburgh, Edmund Roche and John Pilton their heirs and assigns, to the use and profit of Henry Sotehill and his heirs. Quitclaim, at request of the said Henry, of all the lands in Adloxton co. Leicester wherein they were enfeoffed to the use of John Chesilden, to perform his will, or to the use of Elizabeth his mother, all of which he has sold to the said Henry. Dated 2 March 29 Henry VI.

Gift of all his goods, property and chattels in London and elsewhere within the realm, and all debts to him due; and he has put them in possession thereof by delivery of 2d. Thomas Ormond of Swavesey co. Cantebrigge, Humphrey Stafford of Maden Neuton co. Dorset, Thomas Seyntbarbe of Brente co. Somerset and Henry Fylongley of Fylongley co. Warrewyke esquires to John Wenlok knight. Bond in 2,500l. payable on the feast of Allhallows next. Dated 2 March 29 Henry VI.
Condition, that within nine months they shall bring to London letters of acquittance under seal of John the Bastard of Orleaunce count of Dunoys and Longgevylle, or if dead of his executors, and of a notary witnessing their payment of 8,000 salutes or 4,000 nobles for delivery of John Ormond esquire out of prison and his custody, and shall deliver them to the mayor or keeper of London for the time being to be delivered to John Wenlok; that within nine months following they shall bring other letters of acquittance, sealed as before, witnessing the payment of 7,000 salutes or 350 (sic) nobles in full payment for his delivery, and shall deliver those letters or the seals of John Wenlok, or other sufficient discharge for it, to the said mayor or keeper as before, or shall so deliver the said seals.
