Condition, that he shall abide the award of William bishop
of Winchester, Thomas bishop of Ely, Reynold bishop of Hereford,
Humphrey duke of Bukyngham, Richard earl of Salisbury,
John earl of Shrewsbury, John viscount Beaumont, Henry
viscount Bourghchier and Robert Botell prior of St. John
of Jerusalem in England or five of them touching all actions,
causes, plaints and debates of one duke against the other, and
before Tuesday next shall minister to the arbitrators in writing
all that he will against the duke of York which concerns not
principally the estate of the king and realm; that if rendered
before Thursday following he shall perform the said award, otherwise he shall abide and perform the award of the king, so that it
be rendered before Midsummer day next. |

John cardinal archbishop of York and chancellor and William
bishop of Winchester, arbitrators indifferently chosen, concerning
all services, works, customs and demands against them made by
the warden for their lands at Hermondesworth, so that it be
rendered before a month after Easter next, and until then shall
keep the peace toward the warden, his servants, officers, counsellors and persons learned in the law. |

John Bolt chaplain, son and heir of Richard Bolt and one of
his executors, to Henry Smart, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim
with warranty of all lands etc. contained in a fine levied at
Westminster one month after Michaelmas 30 Henry VI by the
said John and others to the said Henry, Ellen his wife and the
heirs of the said Henry, by name of eighteen messuages, a toft,
5 acres of land, and 1½ acre of meadow in the city of Winchester
and town of Oterborne co. Suthampton, reciting that as executor
he has received of Henry Smart for divers lands sold to him in
the said city, the soke thereof and in Oterborne a sum of money
to spend for his said father's soul, that his father by will demised
the premises according to the custom of that city to several
persons, some with remainder to the heirs of their bodies and
some for life, ordering that for lack of heirs the same should be
sold by his executors to spend for his soul, that all the persons
on whom they were entailed are dead without issue, and that by
virtue of the said fine the said Henry and Ellen are thereof
seised; also of a fulling mill in the said city. Dated 9 February
