July 13.
Westminster.
William Derlyng of Saltaysshe co. Cornwall, John Page of Plymmouth co. Devon and William Crike of Saltaysshe to the king. Recognisance for 200l., to be levied etc. in the counties aforesaid.
Condition, that they or one of them shall appear before the king and council on the morrow of All Souls next, to answer Gervase Clyfton knight touching a bill by him exhibited against them and others.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 1,000 marks, made in chancery 24 July 32 Henry VI by John Clynton lord Clynton, Reynold Grey lord of Wilton, Theobald Gorge of Wroxhale co. Somerset knight and Roger Wyke of Rokebourn co. Suthampton esquire for Thomas Courtenay earl of Devon, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 4,000 marks, that he shall appear in person before the king and council or in chancery on the morrow of the Purification next, and in the mean time shall do or procure no hurt or harm to William Bonevyle lord Bonevyle of Chuton knight or any of the people.
Note, that he did that day appear in chancery.

Confirmation with warranty of their estate for the said Joan's life in a moiety of the manor of Grendon with the advowson of the church to that moiety pertaining, certain lands, rents and services in Dordon and Wareton in the said county, the manor of Ingestre co. Stafford with the advowson of Ingestre chapel, and certain lands, rents and services in Grotewych, Mytton, Rule, Rugge and Breredon co. Stafford, which Philip Chetewyn knight and the said Joan his wife held to them and the heirs male of their bodies, the said Philip being dead without issue male by her. Thomas Curson esquire, son of John Curson knight, to Walter Lyhert bishop of Norwich. Bond in 100l. payable at Michaelmas day next. Dated 17 July 32 Henry VI.
Condition, that he shall keep the peace toward the said Walter and toward John Selot clerk and all their servants and tenants until Christmas day 1455, and shall appear in person in the King's Bench in the quinzaine of Michaelmas next to answer to the king concerning trespasses and offences for which he is indicted.
