Condition, that Thomas Gybbys, John Langwith 'taillour' and William Miles 'mercer,' both of London, shall abide the award of Oliver Davy 'goldsmyth,' Thomas Fyler 'mercer' and John Stone 'taillour' touching all quarrels, actions, demands etc. between Thomas Gybbys and Richard Bole, so that the same be made in writing before Easter day next, and if the arbitrators may not agree, the award of George bishop of Exeter the chancellor, so that the same be made in writing before Whitsunday next.

John de la Rouge of Burdeux merchant, attorney and deputy of all merchants and persons having any title or claim to a ship called 'le John' of Garaunt with the goods and merchandise therein, lately taken in the port of Pole while under the king's safe conduct, by virtue of a letter of attorney to him addressed by the said merchants, to John Halle of New Sarum merchant. General release, in his own name and in name of the merchants and persons aforesaid, of all actions, suits, plaints, debates, claims, executions, sentences and demands by reason of the said ship and goods or for any other matter or cause; and because his seal is to many unknown, he has procured the seal of office of the mayoralty of New Sarum to be hereto attached. Memorandum of a declaration made by John de la Rouge merchant of Gascony, in person appearing in Chancery, 29 January, 3 Edward IV, that he is fully restored, paid and agreed of John Halle merchant of Sarum, in his own name and the name of all other merchants and persons having any interest in a ship of Brittany called the John of Garaunt, of the portage of 120 tons, John of Bretteyn master, or any merchandize within the same, the which ship was laden with woollen cloths and being under the safe conduct of the king was surmized by John de la Rouge to be taken upon the sea by John Halle, contrary to the safe conduct: that he is bound unto John Halle in 500l. to make the knowledge above rehearsed: in his name and in name of all above specified by whom he has power to discharge John Halle; that he is agreed and satisfied of the said ship, goods and apparel of the same, and for all hurts, damages and costs sustained and John Halle, his heirs and executors, servants, factors and attorneys, thereof doth discharge, and before the said 29 January at Sarum co. Wilts, before William Wotton now mayor hath by deed released unto John Halle his heirs and executors all actions, trespasses, etc. as thought necessary by his advice and council, and at his request the mayor the seal of his office put thereto. Whereupon this court at request of John de la Rouge charged Roger Holes there present, having keeping of the said obligation in the name of John Halle, to deliver it unto the court, which he did, and it was openly read and understood and, by consideration of the court, was cancelled. Charter with warranty of a messuage in Watford between a tenement late of John atte Welle the elder and a tenement late of John atte Ree, extending in length from the high street to the pond which comes down to Watford mill, as given by metes and bounds, which messuage she, her late husband and William Sherman deceased had jointly by grant of Henry Magoth of St. Albans, Thomas Laneham and John Gregory to them, their heirs and assigns. Witnesses: Richard Maryon, Henry Wynge, John Broune, John Eve, John Hert. Dated Watford, 7 February 3 Edward IV.
