him to attach the body of Edmund Cokayne son of John Cokayne
knight, who, on 8 March, 19 Henry VI, before William Estfeld
then mayor of the staple of Westminster for the admission of
debtors, acknowledged that he owed 100 marks to John Bate,
dean of the collegiate church of Tamworth, which he should
have paid on the Nativity of St. John Baptist next, but has not
yet done so: and hold him in prison until by a valuation of his
lands and chattels the above debt may be fully satisfied, informing
the king of the manner of the execution of this writ. |

Michaelmas following, but yet unpaid; order to detain the said
Robert and John in prison, and make a valuation of their lands
and chattels for the settlement of the said debt. |
