Guy Fairfax, serjeant at law, and Henry Daynell, feoffees of Brian Daynell esquire, late of Bylton, to Thomas son of Brian Daynell, his heirs and assigns. Demise and confirmation by charter of the manors of Tokwith, Bustardthorpe and Midelthorpe co. York, with all lands and tenements therein, and also in Marston and the city of York, which they held jointly with Thomas Daynell, elder brother of Brian, by deed of the said Brian: and like demise to the said Thomas the younger, of all lands and tenements, rents and services in Bylton, formerly of Thomas the elder, and before him of Nicholas Halley, Richard son of John de Piley of Pontefract, William Spyryngthorne, William West and Richard son of Alan of Stokylde in Bylton, to be held by the said Thomas Daynell and the heirs male of his body in capital demesne etc. with remainder to the right heirs of Brian Daynell, and appointment of John Burton and William Seton chaplains as attorneys etc. to convey seisin of the said manors to Thomas Daynell. Witnesses: William Stapilton knight, Thomas Fairfax, Robert Roos, Miles Willesthorpe, Robert Stokys esquires. Dated 26 September, 14 Edward IV.

Henry brother of Brian Daynell esquire of Bylton and Brian Daynell his son, clerk, to Thomas son of Brian Daynell esquire, his heirs and assigns. Release with warranty of all their rights in the above manors. Dated 20 January, 19 Edward IV.
