TO enable the Committees of Robert Tompson, of Crawley, in the County of Bedford, Esquire, &c. - Being the second Time read, was committed to Sir Roland Litton, Sir Robert Oxenbridge, the Knights and Burgesses of Bedfordshire, Sir Gamaliel Capell, Sir John Luke, Mr. Hedley, Mr. Irby, Mr. Brook, Mr. Bacchus, Mr. D. James, Sir William Cook, Mr. Brock, Sir William Fleetwood senior, Sir William Strowd, Mr. Duncombe, Sir Valentyne Knightly, Sir Jerome Horsey, Mr. Alford, Mr. Hare, Mr. Serjeant Shirley, Sir William Burlacy: - To meet on Friday next, at Two a Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber.

Fens.

L. 1a. B. For the Draining of certain Fens and low Grounds, within the Isle of Elye, and Counties adjoining, subject to hurt by surrounding; being about 30,000 Acres.

Union with Scotland.

Mr. Diggs reporteth, from the Committee, the Persons agreed on to maintain Argument upon all Occasions offered at the Conference intended with the Lords Tomorrow in the Afternoon; viz.

Sir Henry Nevill, Sir Edward Hobby, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir John Hollis, Sir Maurice Berkley, Sir Herbert Crofts, Sir Edwyn Sandys, Sir Thomas Lake, Sir Richard Spencer, Sir Roger Owen, Sir Michael Hicks.

Upon the Report, the House approved the Choice; and out of them was pleased to select,

To make the Entrance, by way of Preamble, and Insinuation of the Order of Argument appointed to the Committee.

To offer Reasons and Precedents, touching the Moral Law of Nations. - Jus gentium.

To assist for Matter of Civil Law, as there shall be Occasion.
