Protestant Strangers Encouragement.
Upon Motion made in this House, on the Behalf of
divers poor Protestant Foreigners now residing in this
Kingdom:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it is hereby referred
to the Lords Committees appointed to receive and consider of Petitions, to consider of and prepare a Bill fit
for encouraging such Protestant Foreigners as now are,
or shall for the future come into this Kingdom, so to
exercise their respective Trades as may be useful and
advantageous to this Kingdom; and make Report thereof unto this House.
