The Lord Privy Seal reported, "That the Committee have considered the Lord Audley's Bill; and have made some Amendments therein, which they offer to the Consideration of the House."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Malett and others; who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Thynne, of Longeleate, in the County of Wilts, Esquire, to settle a Jointure on a Wife, of certain Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, therein mentioned," to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

Northern Borders Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for Continuance of Two former Acts, for preventing Thefts and Rapines on the Northern Borders of England."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

Cartwright's Estate Bill.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill concerning Mr. Cartwright's Estate is to meet on Thursday next.

L. Freschevile's Precedency.

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, for John Lord Freschevile, to make out his Title and Claim to a higher Place in the House of Peers, as it is set forth in his Petition to the King's Majesty, and by His Majesty referred to the Consideration of this House:

After due Consideration had of what was offered by the said Lord Freschevile's Counsel thereupon, it is ORDERED, That this House will hear what is to be offered in this Case on His Majesty's Behalf, by His Attorney General, on Wednesday the Sixth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; at which Time the Counsel of the said Lord Freschevile may also be further heard what they have to say concerning the same Matter.

Lovet versus Morden, in Error.

Whereas this Day was appointed to hear Counsel, upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein William Levet Esquire is Plaintiff, and John Norden Gentleman Defendant, to argue the Errors thereupon assigned:

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Errors argued, by Counsel on both Parts, at the Bar, on Saturday the Second Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof as well the said Plaintiff as the Defendant are hereby to take Notice to the End they may come prepared accordingly.

Santen versus Regem, in Error.

Whereas there is a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Luke Santen is Plaintiff against the King's Majesty made therein Defendant, upon which Errors are assigned, and Issue joined:

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Errors argued, by Counsel for the said Plaintiff, at the Bar, as also for the King's Majesty by His Attorney General, on Friday the First Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Messenger versus Taunt, in Error.

Upon reading the Petition of Marke Taunt, Defendant in a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein John Messenger is Plaintiff, praying that a Day may be appointed to hear the said Errors argued:

It is thereupon ORDERED, That this House will hear Counsel on both Parts, to argue the said Errors, at the Bar, on Friday the First Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the now Petitioner is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said John Messenger, or his Attorney in the said Cause.
