Woollen Manufactures Bill.

The House adjourned into a Committee, to consider of the Bill for wearing of Woollen Manufactures, and for regulating the making of them.

The House was resumed.

Then the Earl of Alesbury reported, "That the Committee have read over the Bill, and Two Petitions, one from the Turky Merchants, the other from Weavers; and the Committee desires that the House would please to appoint another Day, when the House should be put into a Committee, to consider further of this Bill; and that all Persons as are concerned may be heard."

And the House granted the Desire of the Committee, and appointed Thursday next for that Purpose; and all Persons concerned to be then heard.

Bampfield & al. versus Rogets.

Upon reading the Petition of Warwick Bampfield, John Winter, and Thomas Warr, Executors of the last Will and Testament of Henry Rogers Esquire, deceased, being an Appeal from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, pursuant to a Trust pretended to be given by the said Henry Rogers to Anne Rogers, and other Matters in the said Petition suggested:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners cause timely Notice of their Petition to be given to the said Anne Rogers; who may have a Copy thereof, and is hereby required to put in an Answer thereunto in Writing on Saturday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant May, by Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sir H. Dela Poole versus Okeover.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Henry de la Poole Baronet, and Dame Elizabeth his Wife, being an Appeal from a Decretal Order made in the Court of Chancery, on the Behalf of Rowland Okeover and Elizabeth his Wife, Daughter of the said Dame Elizabeth, concerning some Lands in Norfolke and Suffolke, settled by Sir Thomas Pettus in Trustees, for the Use of the Petitioner Elizabeth, as in the said Petition is suggested:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners cause timely Notice to be given to the said Rowland Okever and Elizabeth his Wife, of this Petition, whereof they may have a Copy, and to which they are hereby required to put in an Answer in Writing on Saturday the 18th Day of this Instant May, by Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Report concerning Treaty with The States General.

The Lord Treasurer signified to the House, "That he was commanded, by His Majesty, to let their Lordships know, That His Majesty hath not yet received a definitive Answer from The States Generall to the Propositions delivered to their Ambassador and Envoy here; but His Majesty understands from them, that The States Generall had appointed to meet as Yesterday, and hoped to conclude, so as to dispatch away a Messenger as the last Night hitherward with it; which, so soon as His Majesty receives, He will communicate to this House."

ORDERED, That on Monday next, this House will consider what Advice to give His Majesty upon the Treaties of The States Generall.

Adjourn.
