Dut. Graston versus Judges of King's Bench:
After hearing Counsel this Day (pursuant to the
Directions of the House on Saturday last) for the Dutchess of Grafton and William Bridgeman Esquire, as also
Counsel for the Judges of Their Majesties Court of
King's Bench, to open Precedents cited, but not urged;
and long Debate thereupon:
Counsel to shew what Remedies the Petitioners have at Law:
The Counsel on either Side were called in again.
And the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England,
by Directions of the House, let them know, "That they
must attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven of the
Clock in the Forenoon, to shew what Remedies the
Petitioners have in this Case, by the ordinary Methods of Law."
And it is ORDERED, That no other Business shall intervene.
Lords to be summoned.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Lords shall
be summoned, who were present on Friday last; and
that the Presence shall be called over by the List of
that Day.
Bridgeman versus Holt; Time enlarged for assigning Errors.
Whereas there was a Writ of Error brought into this
House the Four and Twentieth Day of November last,
wherein William Bridgeman is Plaintiff, and Rowland Holt
and others Defendants; on which, by the Rules of this
House, Errors ought to be assigned within Eight Days
after the bringing in thereof; which hath been enlarged
by former Orders:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Plaintiff in the
said Writ of Error hath hereby Time given him to assign Errors thereupon, until Tuesday the Six and Twentieth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock
in the Forenoon.
