PRAYERS.
Simpson versus Broomwhorwood.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon
the Petition and Appeal of William Simpson, from Three
Orders; the First made the Tenth Day of November,
One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety, the Second the
Sixth Day of December in the same Year, and the
Third the Thirteenth of the same December, in the
Court of Chancery, in a Cause there depending, between Thomas Broomwhorwood Complainant, and the
said William Simpson Defendant; as also upon the Answer of Thomas Broomwhorwood put in thereunto:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by
Counsel thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by
the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of William
Simpson shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House;
and that the Orders made in the Court of Chancery,
from which he appealed, shall be, and they are hereby,
affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the said
William Simpson shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the
Respondent Thomas Broomwhorwood, the Sum of Twenty
Pounds, for his Costs in defending the said Appeal in
this House.
