for the Benefit of himself and his Wife."

E. of Mountague's Petition, for the Respondents to produce Exhibits, &c. at a Trial at Law, &c.
Then the House went into Consideration of the Precedents reported by the Clerks, pursuant to an Order of
the Twentieth Instant, upon the Petition of Ralph Earl
of Montagu, Elizabeth Dutchess of Albemarle, Christopher Monk and Henry Monk Esquires; praying, "That
the Respondents may be ordered to produce, at a
Trial below, all such Writings and Exhibits as have
been by them proved and exhibited before this
House, or in the Court of Chancery, to be used as
Occasion shall be, several of them being (as the Petitioners are advised) material Evidence for them;
as also that they may not thereat give in Evidence
any Lease or Incumbrance, whereby to obstruct the
Trial of the Validity of the said Deeds:"
And, after a long Debate and Consideration thereof,
it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of Ralph
Earl of Montagu and others abovementioned shall be,
and it is hereby, dismissed this House.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the further Consideration
of Sir William Rawlinson's Petition, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of Sir John
Maynard Knight, deceased, late One of the Commissioners for the Custody of the Great Seal of
England," shall be resumed on Monday next.
