The Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported from the
Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Payment
of the Debts of John Lord Stawell, lately deceased,"
with several Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the
Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
Charles Turner's Bill.
Hodie 2a
vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for
settling the Inheritance of some Parts of the Estate
of Charles Turner Esquire (which lie dispersed) in
himself and his Heirs; and settling an entire Estate,
of greater Value, in Lieu thereof, to the Uses the
said other Parts of his Estate were settled."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the abovesaid
Bill shall be committed to the Lords following;

Mutiny Bill.
The Lord Steward reported from the Committee
appointed to draw a Clause, upon the Debate Yesterday, to be added to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for
continuing the Act for punishing Officers and Soldiers, who shall mutiny, or desert Their Majesties
Service, and for punishing false Musters, and for
the Payment of Quarters for One Year longer;
that the Committee have found Difficulty in the
Case, and have not come to any Conclusion."
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure,
and put into a Committee thereupon.
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was
resumed.
And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had gone through the Bill, with several
Amendments."
Which were read Twice, and agreed to.
ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be read the Third
Time To-morrow, the First Business.
ORDERED, That on Monday next the House shall
be put into a Committee, upon the Bills following;
(videlicet,)
Pardon of Felony, Bill to repeal the Act for finding Sureties for.
"An Act to repeal the Statute made in the Tenth
Year of King Edward the Third, for finding Sureties for the good Abearing, by him or her that hath
a Pardon of Felony."
Quarter Sessions to prevent Delays at, Bill.
As also, "An Act to prevent Delays of Proceedings at the Quarter Sessions of the Peace."
