Marten versus Herbert.
Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Herbert, Respondent to the Appeal of Henry Marten; praying;
"That he may be admitted, in Forma Pauperis, to defend
the said Appeal in this House; and that Sir Thomas
Powis and Samuel Dod Esquire may be assigned
Counsel for him:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Herbert shall be, and he is hereby, admitted, in Forma Pauperis, to answer the said Appeal in this House; and that
Sir Thomas Powis and Mr. Dod shall be, and they are
hereby, assigned Counsel for the said Thomas Herbert.
Philips versus Bury, in Error.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error depending
in this House, wherein Robert Phillips is Plaintiff, and
Arthur Bury Defendant, on Friday the Seventh Day of
this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
