vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for
exempting Apothecaries from serving the Offices of
Constable, Scavenger, and other Parish and Ward
Offices, and from serving upon Juries."
Lord Mayor, &c. of London, to be heard against it.
Upon reading the Petition of the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Commons of the City of London, in Common Council assembled; shewing, "That they take
Notice of a Bill now depending in this House, intituled, "An Act for exempting Apothecaries from
serving the Offices of Constable, Scavenger, and
other Parish and Ward Offices, and from serving
upon Juries;" and praying to be heard, by Counsel,
touching such Matters as they have to offer, on Behalf of the said City, against the said Bill:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be
heard, by their Counsel, against the said Bill, on Monday
the Fourth Day of February next, at Ten of the Clock
in the Forenoon; as also Counsel for the Bill.
Estoft's Bill.
The Earl of Manchester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to vest certain Lands
and Tenements, late of John Estost, of Etton, in the
County of Yorke, Esquire, in Trustees, to be sold, towards Payment of his Debts, and raising Portions for
his Daughters," as sit to pass, without any Amendment.
ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be engrossed.
Wanley's Bill.

vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable William Wanley, an Infant under the Age of
One and Twenty Years, to new build several Messuages
or Tenements in Ax-Yard, KingStreet, Westminster,
for the better securing the Payment of several Charges
and Incumbrances thereon."
Address for Instructions, &c. for the Fleets last Summer.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That an humble Address
shall be presented to His Majesty, from this House,
by the Lords with White Staves, "That such Orders
from the Council, or Secretaries of State, as relate
to the Expedition of the Fleets the last Summer,
may be laid before this House."
