Secular

(1). Farmhouse, about 1 mile W.N.W. of Lavendon Church, is of two storeys, built of stone, probably in 1700. The roofs are tiled. The house consists of a rectangular block, with projections in the middle of the front and at the back. The two-storeyed S. porch has a gable, in which is a stone bearing the date 1700. The gable at the E. end of the building has an original chamfered stone coping, partly restored.

Interior:—The hall has intersecting stop-chamfered beams in the ceiling. The balustrade at the top of the stairs is probably of c. 1700.

Condition—Good.
