The Lord Cornwallis reported from the Committee,
the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees of William Gage to raise Money, by a Mortgage of Part of
his Estate, for the Preservation of the Timber growing thereon," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the
Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

settling divers Manors and Lands upon the Marriage
of the Marquis of Tavistock, Grandson of William
Duke of Bedford."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall

Terry versus Duvall.
Upon reading the Petition of William Terry, of London, Merchant; praying, "That John Duvall Esquire
may forthwith enter into a Recognizance, with sufficient Sureties, to answer such Costs as this House shall
give, in case they shall affirm the Decree from which
he hath appealed; or that his said Appeal may be
dismissed:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Duvall
shall, on or before Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock
in the Forenoon, give sufficient Security, by Recognizance of One Hundred Pounds, to answer Costs, in case
the Decree from which he hath appealed shall be affirmed; and, in Default thereof, the said Appeal to be
dismissed this House.

The Commissioners of the Admiralty, at the Bar, delivered their Answers to the additional Questions, sent to
them the Three and Twentieth Instant.
And, upon Debate concerning the sending the Fleet
into The Mediterranean, the House came to the following
Resolution; (videlicet,)
"That it is the Opinion of this House, That the
sending the Fleet to The Mediterranean, and
the continuing it there this Winter, has been
to the Honour and Interest of His Majesty
and His Kingdoms?"
State of the Fleet.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow, at
Eleven of the Clock, this House shall take into further
Consideration the Condition of the Fleet.
Clipping and counterfeiting the Coin, to event, Bill.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall
be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An
Act to prevent the counterfeiting and clipping the
Coin of this Kingdom," on Saturday next, at Eleven
of the Clock.
