Upon reading the humble Petition of Edmund Evans Doctor of Laws; praying, "That he may be discharged from the Commitment he lies under:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Edmund Evans shall be, and is hereby, discharged, without paying any Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

Oaths to be taken by certain Persons to the King, Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act requiring certain Persons to take the Oaths to His Majesty."
ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Second Time on Thursday next.
Queen's Funeral:
Upon Consideration of some Matters proposed, in relation to the Procession at the Solemnity of Her Majesty's Funeral; the following Orders were made; (videlicet,)
Scotch and Irish Banners;
"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Banners of Scotland and Ireland shall be taken into the State at the Queen's Funeral, and carried by Scotch and Irish Peers, preceding the Banners already placed, and Two Heralds going between them."
Banners of Chester, Cornwall, and Wales:
"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Banners of Chester, Cornwall, and Wales, be carried in the State at the Queen's Funeral, preceding the Banners carried by the Scotch and Irish Peers, by a Baron, an Earl's Eldest Son, and a Viscount; and the Banner of Wales to be in the Middle."
Stairs in the Abbey:
"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That there shall be a Pair of Stairs made behind the State, in the Abbey Church; and that there shall be a Centinel and a Door-keeper of this House placed there, to prevent any Persons going up those Stairs, except Lords of this House and their Eldest Sons."
Adjournment of the House, from the Funeral to the Council Chamber.
"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall this Day be adjourned to Tuesday Morning next, to the Council Chamber at Whitehall, and from thence to the Abbey Church in Westminster; and, after the Solemnity of the Queen's Funeral ended there, to Thursday following, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to the House of Peers; and that the Clerks of this House do attend at the Council Chamber in Whitehall, at the Time aforesaid."
Baronies by Writ, Descents of.
Whereas Monday next is appointed to consider what hath been mentioned, or shall be offered, by some Lords, in relation to Descents of Baronies by Writ:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration thereof shall be resumed on Friday the Eighth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock; and that the Committee appointed to consider of what shall be reported to His Majesty in relation to His Majesty's Reference to this House upon the Petition of Sir Richard Verney, claiming the Title of Lord Broke, do meet on Saturday the Ninth of this Instant March, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Message from H. C. desiring Lords to sit.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr Boyle and others:
To desire that this House will sit on Monday next.
Answer.
After some Time, the Commons were called in; and told, "That the Lords have considered their Message; and that, before they received the Message, they had resolved to adjourn to Tuesday Morning next; but that the House is likely to sit some Time longer this Day."
Committee to search Precedents of Messages between the Houses, desiring each other to sit.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Committees for Privileges do search the Journals of this House, concerning Messages between both Houses, for desiring each other to sit; and that the Committee do meet on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock, in the House of Peers; and all the Lords summoned to attend.
Address for the Maintenance and Increase of the Fleet.
The Earl of Stamford reported from the Committee, the Address drawn by them upon the Debate Yesterday.
Which was read; and some Alterations being made therein, the same was agreed to, as followeth; (videlicet,)
"We, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, having resolved, by the unanimous Vote of this House, that the sending so great a Fleet into The Mediterranean, and continuing it in those Parts, has been to the Honour and Advantage of Your Majesty and Your Kingdoms; and having spent some Time upon Consideration of the Condition of the Fleet both at Home and Abroad, and of the great Increase of the Naval Force and Strength of our Neighbours; conceive it to be our Duty to Your Majesty and the Kingdom, humbly to represent, that the Honour and Safety of this Nation, under the Providence of God, chiefly depends upon Your Strength at Sea: And whereas, by the long Continuance of this War, the Number of Your Ships must have been diminished, and those remaining greatly impaired, we think it of the highest Importance to Your Majesty's Service, and the Security and Interest of Your People, that You would be pleased to give such speedy and effectual Directions for the Repair and Increase of Your Royal Navy, as may enable Your Majesty not only to continue a Strength in The Mediterranean, during this War, which may be superior to that of our Enemies; but likewife to maintain such a Force here at Home and in The West Indies, as shall be a Security for our Coasts and Plantations, and a Protection of our Trade, and sufficient both for the annoying of our Enemies, and for the protecting and conveying all such Stores and Provisions as must be sent to the Fleet in those Parts; upon the effectual and timely providing whereof, the Safety of that Part of Your Majesty's Navy does so much depend."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, humbly to know when His Majesty will be pleased to be attended with the Address of this House.
Clipping and Exportation of Money, to prevent, Bill.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Committee appointed the Sixth of February last, to draw a Bill or Bills to prevent clipping and debasing of Money, as also to consider of Expedients to prevent the Exportation of Money, shall be revived; and meet on Friday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
