Bp. of Lincoin takes the Oaths.

This Day James Lord Bishop of Lincoln took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Articles presented by Crosfield, referred to Commissioners for Accompts to report.

Upon reading, this Day, the Second and Third Article annexed to the Petition of Robert Crosfeild, presented to this House the Ninth Instant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Examination and Consideration of the Complaints mentioned in the said Articles shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Commissioners appointed to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of this Kingdom; who are to transmit an Account of their Proceedings therein to this House.

Foreign Seamen, to naturalize, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Foreign Seamen."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

And, after some Time, the House was resumed.

And, upon Debate,

This Question was put, "Whether the Bill shall be now reported?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Then the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed.

Adjourn.
