"An Act for the better Encouragement of Privateers,"
shall not be read but in a full House; and all the Lords
summoned to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman
Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his
Deputy and Deputies, do forthwith attach the Body
of Richard Acton, and bring him to the Bar of this
House; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that
Behalf.

The House being informed, "That Sir Basill Firebrace, now in the Custody of the Gentleman Usher
of the Black Rod attending this House, was seen
abroad, walking and conversing with several Persons:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher
of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy
or Deputies, do take special Care that the said Sir
Basil Firebrace be kept close Prisoner; and that he be
not suffered to speak with any Person whatsoever, but
in the Presence of the Gentleman Usher of the Black
Rod or his Deputy, unless by Order of the Committee of both Houses.
Leave to Acton to lie at his own House.
The House being informed, from the Committee of
both Houses, "That Mr. Acton hath behaved himself
ingenuously at the said Committee:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Richard Acton
(now in the Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the
Black Rod) hath hereby Leave given him to go to
and lie at his own House, having an Officer of the
Black Rod's to attend him; and that he attend the
Committee of both Houses To-morrow, at Nine of the
Clock in the Forenoon.
