A Message from the House of Commons, by Colonel Granville and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials, in Cases of Treason and Misprision of Treason;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials, in Cases of Treason and Misprision of Treason."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the abovesaid Bill shall be read the Second Time on Monday the Three and Twentieth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

King's Answer to Address against the Scots Act for an E. I. Company.

The Lord Keeper reported His Majesty's Answer to the Address of both Houses, made to Him Yesterday, as followeth; (videlicet,)

"I have been ill served in Scotland; but I hope some Remedies may be found, to prevent the Inconveniencies which may arise from this Act."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of Engl'd do give Order, That the Address made Yesterday to His Majesty by both Houses of Parliament, and His Majesty's most Gracious Answer thereunto, be forthwith printed and published.

Stoughton's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Estate, late of Sir Nicholas Stoughton and Sir Laurence Stoughton, Baronets, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of their Debts, and raising Portions for the Daughters of the said Sir Nicholas Stoughton."

Whitaker versus Pawlin et al.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Edward Whitaker is Appellant, and William Paulin, William Loggin, and others, are Respondents; on Wednesday the Eighth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Relief of Creditors Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Day may be appointed, to proceed."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, to proceed upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors," on Saturday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that, in the mean Time, all the Judges do meet, and consider of the said Bill.

Adjourn.
