Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials, in Cases of Treason and Misprision of Treason."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir Richard Holford:

Upon receiving this Day several Papers from the Commissioners of the Admiralty, pursuant to the Order of this House of the Fourteenth Instant:

Deere versus Gibbon,

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Edward Deere, against a Decree made in the Chancery, at the Grand Sessions held at Brecon, the Twentieth Day of April, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-four, before His Majesty's Justices, in a Cause depending there, between William Gibbon Gentleman, Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying, "that the said William Gibbon may answer to the said Appeal:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Gibbon may have a Copy of the said Petition and Appeal; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the Eight and Twentieth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Griffith versus Harries.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Causes now depending in this House, upon the several Petitions of Jenkin Griffith, and the several Answers of Hugh Harries put in thereunto, shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Tenth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Stoughton's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Estate, late of Sir Nicholas Stoughton and Sir Lawrence Stoughton, Baronets, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of their Debts, and raising Portions for the Daughters of the said Sir Nicholas Stoughton."
