vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to
enable Sir Charles Heron Baronet to sell Lands, for
Payment of a Portion and Debts."
Admiralty Papers.
The Lord Ferrers reported, "That the Committee
had adjourned themselves to Friday; but, that not
being a convenient Day; desire the House would appoint Saturday next."
ORDERED, That the said Committee do meet on Saturday next; and that all Persons who were ordered to
attend on Friday do then attend.
Double Returns, &c. to prevent, Bill.
Whereas this Day was appointed for the House to
be put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An
Act to prevent false and double Returns of Members
to serve in Parliament:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be
put into a Committee, upon the said Bill, on Friday next,
at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Oaths in Ireland, Bill to amend the Act for.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put
into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for
amending an Act made in the Third Year of His present Majesty and the late Queen, intituled, An Act
for abrogating the Oath of Supremacy in Ireland, and
appointing other Oaths."
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Rochester reported, "That the
Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and
desire another Time may be appointed, for the House
to be put into a Committee again upon the said Bill."
ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee again, upon the said Bill, To-morrow, at Eleven
of the Clock.
Hall & al. versus Potter.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
the Cause wherein John Hall and John Keene are Appellants, and Jane Potter Respondent, on Saturday the
Eleventh Day of this Instant January, at Ten of the
Clock in the Forenoon.
