E. of Rochford introduced.

This Day William Earl of Rochford was introduced, between the Earl of Essex and the Earl of Monmouth; the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, the Lord Great Chamberlain, and the King at Arms, going before, carrying his Letters Patents of Creation, delivered the same to the Earl of Rochford; who gave it to the Speaker, on his Knee; which was read at the Table.

His Writ also was read, and bears Date the 12th of October, 7° Gul. Tertii.

Then his Lordship came to the Table; and took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes; and took his Place at the lower End of the Earls Bench.

Fletcher's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manors of Morresby and Distington, and other the Lands of William Fletcher, of Morresby, in the County of Cumberland, Esquire, in Trustees, for the Payment of his Debts, Improvement of his Estate, and other Purposes therein mentioned."

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be rejected.

Sir. W. Barkham's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for making good the last Will of Sir William Barkham Baronet, deceased, and vesting of Lands in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of his Debts, and making Provision for his Children."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Midford's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enabling Trustees to sell the Manor of Pespoole, in the County of Durham, Part of the Estate of William Midford an Infant, for Payment of Debts and Incumbrances charged thereon, and for preserving the rest of the said Infant's Estate."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cook and Sir Lacon Wm. Child:

To carry down the said Bills, and desire their Concurrence to them.
