Personal Estates in Wales, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking away the Custom of Wales, which hinders Persons from disposing their Personal Estates by their Wills."

After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Huntingdon reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with the Addition of a Proviso."

Which, being read Twice, was agreed to.

Charitable Gifts, &c. to encourage, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement of Charitable Gifts and Dispositions."

After hearing Counsel this Day, upon several Petitions against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for restraining the Wearing of all Wrought Silks, Bengalls, and Dyed, Printed, or Stained Callicoes, imported into the Kingdom of England, of the Product and Manufacture of Persia and The East Indies."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel, and Witnesses for the Bill, To-morrow at Eleven of the Clock.
