A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir Justinian Lewin and Sir Moundeford Brampston:
To acquaint them, that this House intends to adjourn
from this Day to Thursday come Sevennight.
Countess of Lincoln's Coach taken in Execution.
Upon Oath made at the Bar of this House, by William Matchett and Thomas Burton, "That about November last, one Thomas Ball did attach the Coach
of and belonging to the Countess of Lyncolne, and
that in February last one John Bishop a Bailiff, and
Wilson his Follower, did (by an Execution as
they pretended) take the said Coach in Execution,
and likewise the Coach Horses of the said Countess
of Lyncolne, for a pretended Debt of Thirty and
Two Shillings, besides Cost of Suit, contrary to the
Privilege of Parliament; and that Henry Kempe, Attorney for the said Thomas Ball, made out the said
Execution:"
Ball, Bishop, & al. sent for.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Ball,
John Bishop, Wilson, and Henry Kempe, be, and
are hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House,
on Friday the 27th Day of March Instant, at Ten of the
Clock in the Forenoon, to answer for their said Offences: And hereof they may not fail.
