Message from H. C. with Bills.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Charles Harbord and others; which consisted of these Particulars:
1. To present Two Bills, to which they desire their
Lordships Concurrence:
1. "An Act to regulate the Trade of Silk
Throwing."
2. "An Act to prevent Thefts and Robberies on
the Highways."
2. To return the Bill concerning Sir Thomas Hebblethwayte, wherein they agree in leaving out the
Proviso.
3. They return the Bill for taxing Lands in the
Great Level of the Fens, having amended it according to the Amendments agreed on by both Houses.

take into Consideration what Resolution to give in the
Cause between the Lady Wentworth, and the Lord
Lovelace.

ORDERED, That the Bill for settling the Estate of Sir
Richard Lucy shall be read To-morrow Morning.
Judgement against Holles, Sir J. Elliott, & al. in the King's Bench reversed.
Whereas Counsel have been this Day heard, at the
Bar, as well to argue the Errors assigned by the Lord
Holles, Baron of Ifeild, upon a Writ of Error depending
in this House, brought against a Judgement given in
the Court of King's Bench, in 5to
Caroli Primi, against
the said Lord Holles, by the Name of Denzell Holles
Esquire, and others; as also to maintain and defend the
said Judgement on His Majesty's Behalf:
Upon due Consideration had of what hath been offered on both Parts thereupon, the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in Parliament assembled do order and adjudge, That the said Judgement given in the Court of
King's Bench in 5to
Caroli Primi, against the said Denzell
Holles and others, shall be reversed.
The Form whereof (to be affixed to the Transcript
of the Record) followeth:
"Et quia Curia Parliamenti, de Judicio suo, de &
super præmissis reddend. nondum advisatur, Dies
datus est tam prædicto Galfr'o Palmer Mil. & Bar.
qui sequitur, &c. quam prædicto Denzel Domino

prædictus Denzel Dominus Holles, in propriis Personis suis; super quo, visis & per eandem Curiam
nunc hic pleniùs intellectis omnibus & singulis præmissis, maturâque Deliberatione inde habitâ, consideratum est per Curiam prædictam, quod Judicium
prædictum, ob Errores prædict. & al. in Recordo
& Processu prædictis compertos, revocetur, adnulletur, & penitus pro nullo habeatur; et quod prædict.
Denzell Dominus Holles ad omnia quæ idem Denzell
Dominus Holles occasione Judicii prædict. amisit
restituatur."
