PRAYERS.

The Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas sat Speaker this Day, in the Absence of the Lord Keeper, who is sick.

Bill concerning Privilege and Judicature in Parliament.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the limiting of certain Trials in Parliament, and Privilege of Parliament, and for ascertaining the Trial of Peers, and all other His Majesty's liege People."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to a Committee of the whole House.

To that Purpose, the House was adjourned during Pleasure; and the Committee of the whole House took presently the said Bill into Consideration.

The House being resumed;

The Earl of Essex reported, "That the Grand Committee have not gone through in the Consideration of the Bill for limiting of certain Trials in Parliament, &c. therefore the House was desired to appoint another Time to proceed further therein."

Thereupon the House was appointed to sit To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock; and the further Consideration of this Bill to be the First Business in the Committee of the whole House.

Committee to consider of Decay of Trade, &c.

ORDERED, That the Committee for considering of the Reasons and Grounds of the Falling of Rents and Decay of Trade do meet To-morrow in the Afternoon.

Smithsby's Executors versus Jacob & al.

Upon reading the Petition of Symon Middleton and John Blackwell Esquires, Executors of Thomas Smithsby Esquire, deceased, and of James Smithsby, Thomas Hartley, Rebacca his Wife, and Mary Smithsby, Children of the said Thomas Smithsby; praying, "That Hezekiah Heynes, One of their Co-executors, who hath combined with Sir John Jacob and others complained of in their Petition presented to this House on the 29th Day of October last, may answer to the Complaint of the Petitioners in their said Petition:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Hezekiab Heynes be, and is hereby, required to put in his Answer in Writing to the said First Petition, at the Bar of this House, on Friday the 19th Day of November Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon: And hereof he may not fail.

Adjourn.
