PRAYERS.

Portbury versus Ledgingham.

Whereas, upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, between Roger Portbury and Warwick Ledgingham Esquire, the said Warwick Ledgingham hath assigned the Errors he insisteth on; and the said Roger Portbury hath pleaded thereto, In nullo est Erratum:

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Errors assigned by the said Warwick Ledgingham shall be argued, by Counsel, at the Bar of this House, on Wednesday the Eighth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof timely Notice is to be given to the said Roger Portbury, or his Attorney, to the End he may be ready accordingly.

Smythsby's Executors versus Jacob & al.

Upon hearing of Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition of Symon Middleton and John Blackwell Esquires, Executors of Thomas Smithsby Esquire, deceased, and of James Smithsby, Thomas Hartley, Rebecca his Wife, and Mary Smithsby, Children of the said Thomas Smithsby, concerning certain Proceedings in Chancery, relating to Monies secured to be paid by Sir Paul Pindar, Sir John Jacob, Sir Nicholas Crisp, Sir Job Harby, Sir John Nulls, and Sir John Harrison, late Farmers of His Majesty's Customs; and also the joint and several Answers of Sir John Jacob Baronet, Executor of the said Sir John Jacob Knight and Baronet, his late Father, deceased; and of John Crisp and Thomas Crisp, Executors of the said Sir Nicholas Crisp Knight, their late Father, deceased; and also the Answer of Hezeckiah Heynes to the said Petition:

After due Consideration had by this House of what was offered on either Part thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said (fn. 1) be, and are hereby, dismissed this House.

Adjourn.
