Gregory, E. of Rutland's Servant, arrested.
Upon Oath made at the Bar of this House, by Durant Alsoppe, "That Mr. Heynes, an Attorney at Law,
did sue forth a Writ against Henry Gregory, menial
Servant to the Earl of Rutland, and caused him to be
thereupon arrested in Mich. Terme last, sitting the
Parliament, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament;
and proceedeth still against the said Henry Gregory,
notwithstanding that Warning hath been given him
of the Breach of Privilege of Parliament:"
Heynes sent for.
It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Mr. Heynes, Attorney at Law, be, and is hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House, on Monday
the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at
Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to make Answer to
the said Complaint: And hereof he may not fail.
Sandys versus Nevill and Phyney.
Upon reading and considering of the humble Petition
of William Sandys Esquire this Day, complaining against
Edward Nevill and Edward Phyney, and also of the
Hardship of a Dismission of his Bill relating to them in
the Court of Chancery, and a Release gotten by Surprise; and praying to be relieved, by setting aside the
said Dismission and Release:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That it is hereby referred to
the Lords Committees for Petitions, to examine the Matters complained of in the said Petition, and report the
same to the House.
