Message from the King, about a Receis.

The Lord Arlington acquainted the House, "That he was commanded by the King to let their Lordships know, that His Majesty continues in His former Resolution of making a Recess at Easter; and therefore desires that the Public Business before their Lordships may be expedited, in order thereunto."

Bill against Conventiclus.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to prevent and suppress seditious Conventicles."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House: And the House was presently adjourned into a Committee, to debate the same accordingly.

The House being resumed;

The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee of the whole House have read the Bill against Conventicles, and begun to read the same in Paragraphs; but do desire that the said Committee may be appointed to sit again To-morrow Morning to proceed in that Bill."

Whereupon it is ORDERED, that the Committee of the whole House is appointed to sit To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, and proceed in the Bill against Conventicles.

Grenvile versus Elwes.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed to take into Consideration the Petition of Bernard Greenvile Esquire, this House appoints Wednesday Morning next for that Business.
