Lord Norris's

The Earl of Aylsbury reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill for enabling the making Conveyances of Put of the Estate of James Lord Norreys, and have heard all Parties concerned, and do think it fit to pass, with some Amendments"

Which, being read Twice, were Agreed to, and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments

Deed mentioned in this Bill to be enrolled in Chancery

ORDERED, That a Writing in Parchment, dated the 28th of July, 1655, signed by the Right Honourable Bridget late Countess of Lindsey, in the Presence of John Litle and Richard Somers, whereby the Estate of the said Countess of Lindsey is settled in Trustees, for the Uses, Intents, and Purposes, therein contained (which Deed is mentioned in a Bill now depending in this House, intituled, "An Act to enable the making of Conveyances of Part of the Estate of James Lord Norreys during his Minority," and was produced before the Lords Committees to whom the said Bill was committed), shall forthwith be enrolled in the Court of Chancery, in perpetuam Rei Memoriam, and that the Right Honourable Edward Earl of Manchester, in the said Writing named, shall have the Custody thereof, the said Countess having first left it in his Hands.

The Lord Viscount Hallyfax and the Lord Ashley are added to the Committee for the Bill for preventing Frauds and Deceits in Servants.

E Westmor Land and Lord Holl s concerning the Minor of Aldenham, Privilege

Upon hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon a Complaint made by the Earl of Westm'land, of a Breach of his Privilege, by his being dispossessed of the Manor of Aldenham, and the Lands thereto belonging, in the County of Hertford, in November last, (sitting the Parliament), and also for the Lord Holles, upon his Lordship's Answer to the said Complaint

After due Consideration had of what was offered on either Part concerning the Matter of Fact, it ap pearing that the Manor and I ands of Aldenham aforesaid were made over to the Earl of Westmerland only in Trust for the Purposes in the Deed of Assignment thereof mentioned, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled do adjudge and declare, That there is no Privilege in this Case.

The Lord Chandos is added to the Committee concerning Proceedings on Bills of Midd and Ac etiams
