have considered the Bill for settling an Agreement
between Sir William Smith and others; and, having
heard all Parties concerned, do think fit the said Bill
do pass, with some Amendments."

Salmon versus Hamburgh Company.
Next, the House took into Consideration the Business
concerning the Hamborough Company: And, upon reading
some Passages in the Charter of the said Company, and
considering the Petition of Doctor Salmon and the several
Answers thereunto, and upon Debate thereof, these
Lords following were appointed a Committee, to consider
of the whole Charter of the said Hamborough Company;
and to advise with some of the Judges, what Way the said
Company may be compelled to appear before this House
legally, and how the said Company may be charged
with the Payment of their Debts; and make Report
thereof to this House:
